The team led by the Cross River Director of Civil, Engr. Godwin Akeke witnessed massive deployment of human resources including the Cross River Director, Vehicle Inspection Officer (VIO), Engr. Paul Bepeh and his men, security personnel and a team of Governor Ayade media personnel, Solomon Asha, Beatrice Akpala and Emmanuel Ulayi as well as Channels Television Camera man, Mr. Savior.
With the gallant and collective efforts of all, especially the security men, the road which was congested for kilometers was not only opened for trucks carrying materials to gain access to the bad spots but also for work to commence, leading to the gradual easing of traffic from the congested road.
Below are some of the photographs showing the state of the road before intervention, progress of work and how the road road looks after the intervention.
