At about 5:00am on Tuesday the 2nd of August, 2016, a man was found dead at Parliamentary Extension, by Excel Tech Filling station, Calabar. Reason being that, he was caught in the act after stealing a petrol generator from a resident within the area whose name is still anonymous.
The man whose identity is still unknown was discovered to have bruises of cuts from matchet all over his body especially the head region. The alleged thief had bled to death with motor tyre placed on his abdomen and a robe tied on his ankles. Maybe, the mob wanted to burn him, but who knows what stopped them.
