Manchester United have been in an injury crisis all season and that still is the case heading into the Premier League run in.

Erik is now overseeing preparations for Bournemouth on Saturday without ten first team players.

The United manager has two training sessions left with an already more depleted squad than last week’s squad against Liverpool.

The defense is the most injury hit department in ten Hag’s squad with up to 5 defenders injured.

Over the course of the week, ten Hag has already had to integrate a couple of youngsters into the team to countee for the depleted squad.

Midfielders Zach Baumann, James Scanlon and Jack Fletcher, as well as forwards Shea Lacey and Ethan Wheatley were all spotted in first team training this week.

Marcus Rashford is the most recent on the injury list after he went down in the Liverpool game and had to be replaced by Antony in the second half.

The English winger was not spotted in training all week and it remains to be seen when he will be back to the squad.

Scott McTominay was also not spotted as he recovers from a knee injury.

The Scottish midfielder hyperextended his knee in the defeat against Chelsea last week and he is expected to be out for 2-3 weeks.

The rest of the absent party accounts for all the injuries in the defensive unit.

Raphael Varane and Jonny Evans both got injured in the same Chelsea game and are not expected back until at least until the end of the month.

Luke Shaw and Lisandro Martinez are both not expected until next month and Tyrell Malacia who hasn’t played all season is not nearing a return for this season.

Erik ten Hag will perhaps have to rely on youngsters like Willy Kambwala yet again come Saturday.
