According to former Chelsea defender, two of Man United’s biggest stars could be perfect for Pochettino’s side, and he urged the club to try and sign the duo.

While speaking to Gambling Zone, Gallas mentioned how both Marcus Rashford and captain Bruno Fernandes would solve most of Chelsea’s problems.

“Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes could be good options for Chelsea. Both are quality players. Bruno could definitely be the kind of midfielder who has the quality to play in the number ten role where Chelsea lack strength,”he stated.

He went on to add how devoid of leadership Chelsea are on account of just how young the team is adding how Bruno’s leadership could get the through tough moments.

“Chelsea are a team of young players and Bruno Fernandes has the leadership qualities to get through certain periods. He’d be a good signing if the rumours are true,” the 46-year-old concluded.

Chelsea have been having a bland season especially considering just how much was spent on assembling that team and in part, it has been due to the lack of leaders in the young group.

The duo of Rashford and Bruno has been grossly misunderstood time and time again by their own fans.

Rashford has been struggling all season compared to his 30-goal haul last campaign. His 7 goals and 2 assists this is greatly underwhelming and fans have turned on him just about every chance they get.

His body language in particular has been the source of said criticism, as he has sometimes showed little intention in pressing, seeming entirely disinterested altogether.

Bruno has been an excellent servant to the club since he signed, always giving his all and always available. His ball retention is what United fans pick on and pick on alright.

There is virtually zero chance The Red Devils would be willing to let go of frankly their only world-class players, although there has been chatter they may be interested in PSG’s astronomical offer for Rashford.
