Back in November of last year, the team behind Killer Instinct released a new update for its Anniversary Edition that included an all new set of balance changes. The team has returned once again, and it looks like they’ll be making more additions to the 2013 title.
A live stream is set to be held tomorrow by the Iron Galaxy crew that will be showcasing some new balance changes coming to the game. Apparently, we will also see some new cosmetic content during the broadcast.
“Stream Alert! Tune in this Friday, March 29 at 12 PM PT for a stream with the KI Development Team and @IronGalaxy,” wrote the official Killer Instinct Twitter account. “This stream will feature a few balance changes coming to Killer Instinct Anniversary Edition along with some new cosmetic content to look out for.”
As far as balance changes go, the previous patch introduced changes for quite a few fighters on the roster, but not everyone. The thought process for the initial balance patch wasn’t just to add new things to breathe new life into the game, but to target some of the more egregious aspects of certain characters that needed tweaking.
It is very likely that this next update will polish any recent changes that need additional tweaking. It’s also possible that we’ll see some changes for some of the characters who didn’t get any last time.
The live stream will be taking place Friday, March 29 (tomorrow) at 12 p.m. PT. You’ll be able to catch the action over on Iron Galaxy’s Twitch channel.
