Fans have been waiting years for the immortal dandy vampire himself to return to Guilty Gear, and it looks like it’s finally time.
Following the conclusion of the Arc World Tour Finals 2023, Arc System Works teased who pretty much has to be Slayer for Guilty Gear Strive.
The teaser video begins by going through the first three seasons of DLC for Strive before a graphic pops up on screen to confirm that Season 4 content for the game is now in development, which is not that surprising given the continued success of the game.
We’re then greeted with the text “Next Season 3 Daredevil coming May 2024,” and though we don’t get to see who it is exactly, the bits we can see pretty much gives him away.
The bats and distinct spiked hair with a curl indicates that Slayer the Nightwalker is finally on the way in a couple of months.

Considering the large collar / cape on the silhouette, his character design may have been changed up from how he previously appeared in the series though fans will probably be more interested in knowing how he’s going to play — since Strive’s track record of overhauling returning members of the cast in the past.
There’s obviously not much else to go on right now, but we should be learning more about the last addition for Season 3 soon.
Since he’s scheduled for May, ArcSys will probably give fans a full trailer at Evo Japan 2024 next month running April 27–29.
It likely won’t be until Evo 2024 in Last Vegas, Nevada, however, until they reveal the real start of Season 4.
Before all of that, there’s still A.B.A’s return to the series with her release date coming in just a few days.
