Desk shows off a super tight 69-hit combo with Juri in Street Fighter 6

Though JP, Ken, and Luke were the characters that most players felt were in contention for winning Capcom Cup X earlier this year, in ended up being UMA327 with his Juri that ended up taking first place. Evidently, Juri is not the type of character that anybody can afford to sleep on right now.

Over on his recently created Twitter account, Desk has recently uploaded a clip that showcases how Juri is no slouch when it comes her combo game. He ended up performing an extremely strict 69-hit combo with maximum resources and with the opponent trapped in the corner.

According to Desk, there are five separate instances of needing to microwalk for a duration of 1-3 frames. Notably, microwalking during a combo is the difference between getting an extra Drive Rush or not. This is due to how the Drive Gauge will replenish after performing a Drive Rush mid-combo if a microwalk is successfully pulled off.

However, it should be noted that Desk should only theoretically need to microwalk about two times to gain access to enough Drive Gauge to perform one raw Drive Rush and three cancel Drive Rushes. In other words, the other microwalk sequences of this combo are simply necessary to keep Juri close enough to continue the combo.

It’s also mentioned that the combo is optimized so that the final jump heavy kick hits just a few frames before Juri’s Feng Shui Engine — Super Art 2 — runs out. As such, Desk is then able to combo into Juri Super Art 1 to finish the 69-hit combo.

Desk ends up rating this combo as an “8 out of 10,” though it’s not clear if that’s in terms of the combo’s enjoyability to perform or its difficulty. Check it out below:
