Mortal Kombat 1’s latest DLC character, DC Comics’ own Peacemaker, is now officially in the game by way of early access. Fans are quickly jumping in to hit the lab and discover what all the newcomer has to offer on the battlefield.
One player found a particularly crafty combo for Peacemaker that doesn’t even require he be near the opponent at all. This wild sequence utilizes nothing but projectiles, fullscreen distance, and is hilariously awesome.
Peacemaker has several interesting gadgets and tools at his disposal in Mortal Kombat 1. He has a helmet that emits a powerful sonic boom, a screeching eagle that flies in to assist, and lots of guns.
Twitter user SilverSandbag uploaded a clip featuring a Peacemaker (with Kung Lao Kameo Fighter) combo that focuses solely on using ranged projectile attacks. The sequence begins with Kung Lao tossing his hat into the ground and Peacemaker calling his eagle in for aid.
The eagle shoots forward and knocks the opponent into the air as Kung Lao’s hat follows behind and juggles them, then Peacemaker fires his amplified handgun. This attack shoots three projectiles, and the final one restands the opponent allowing Peacemaker to continue the onslaught.
From here, Peacemaker uses the same maneuver two more times, restanding the opponent each time and keeping them grounded. To close things out, Peacemaker rolls forward as his eagle goes in one more time for the strike, and then he fires his last projectile in Fatal Blow to tack on strong damage at the end.
Behold! The greatest projectile only combo you will ever see! pic.twitter.com/uqid0xsGQi
