After a week of competition, the first Street Fighter 6 world champion has been crowned at Capcom Cup X with the amazing run from Taiwan’s Wang “UMA” Yuan-hao.
The fighting game community is collectively celebrating this massive accomplishment, and that includes a ton of artists making new works for UMA and the pajama Juri costume he used.
There’s a wide variety of artists from all over the globe taking part with almost every style imaginable though many of them do have a few things in common.
Most of them feature Juri in her red, orange and black Outfit 3 that UMA used throughout the tournament, and a lot of the time she’s either got the CCX trophy or a fat stack of cash for that $1 million prize (and some remembered to put UMA in there too).
A few also put Juri in the Ookami Mio VTuber hoodie that UMA wore during the finals too, which is pretty cute.
That includes the likes of Gar, who designed one of the fan-voted Street Fighter 5 costumes for the character, and Kangyaku, who does the Do Your Best Juri-chan comics featured on the Street Fighter social media and in the Battle Hub of SF6.
You will also recognize a lot of these names too if you follow the art scene of the FGC at all.
