We are seeking a skilled and experienced Remote DevOps Engineer to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software engineering and is comfortable with designing and implementing robust and scalable systems.
As a Remote DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the creation and management of our CI/CD infrastructure, ensuring the smooth delivery of our software products.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management.
Test implemented designs.
Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning.
Handle code deployments in all environments.
Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve.
Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations.
Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery.
Manage CI and CD tools with team.
Document and design various processes; update existing processes.
Improve infrastructure development and application development.
Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation.
Participate in the on-call rotations, troubleshoot potential issues, and fix existing ones.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in CS, engineering, software engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in working with Linux/Unix administration.
Minimum 2 years of experience working with AWS, GCP, or other cloud services.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, JavaScript, Ruby.
Experience in working with Docker containers and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or Amazon ECS.
Experience in managing CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab, or similar.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Experience with monitoring and logging systems.
Understanding of network protocols, DNS, VPN, Load Balancing and Firewall.
Familiarity with software security and best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in a startup environment.
Certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional DevOps Engineer are a plus.
Experience with serverless approaches using AWS Lambda or Google Cloud Functions is a plus.
Experience with database technologies, including Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis) databases.
