Capcom is certainly not one to shy away from crossovers and collaborations in its many years of existence though this one is a bit different.
Japanese clothing design brand Uniqlo recently just released a free new game to help celebrate Capcom’s 40th birthday and promote its tie-in anniversary line using Street Fighter characters.
The game is called UT Adventure, and it’s an 8-bit styled side-scrolling shooter with the first of three levels released themed around Street Fighter 2.
Players are tasked with running through a Uniqlo store attacking aliens who stole the new clothing designs with hangers and other power-ups while trying to get points and reach the register.
The classic world warriors can be seen throughout the stage with Dhalsim reaching up high for some clothes for example, and your character can even temporarily turn into Ryu when getting a special power-up.
There’s not a lot to it, but it’s a fun little time waster that can be played on your smartphone browser or on a computer (but it seems a little more awkward there.
UNIQLO is all in on developing a new game, called “UT ADVENTURE” to celebrate the launch of CAPCOM 40th UT!
Starting today, you can enjoy playing the game on UNIQLO websites all over the world! Please enjoy a trial of Stage 1 https://t.co/963VQxmsQT@UNIQLO_JP @UniqloUSA pic.twitter.com/X1OxYnohgP

A second stage themed around Mega Man will be releasing in March plus a third stage that hasn’t been unveiled yet.
Uniqlo and Capcom will be giving away 40 special mini arcade machines with UT Adventure built in, but details on how to win one will be revealed at a later date too.
You can check out UT Adventure on the website as well as the Uniqlo Capcom 40th clothing collection featuring a multitude of the game developer’s most iconic franchises.

This isn’t the only odd collab we’ve seen pop up recently either, as Street Fighter hot sauce made an appearance at Capcom Cup X this week though you probably won’t be able to buy any yourself.
There’s also a new Uniqlo UT collaboration that just started in Street Fighter 6 with three T-shirt designs for player avatars from now until April 1.
