Song and Culkin were first spotted together in Los Angeles. This sighting happened in July 2017, right in the middle of the dinner rush at Craig’s. Craig’s is a celeb-packed haunt in West Hollywood. It’s not the place you’d choose if you’re trying to keep a relationship under wraps.
By October, they were seen holding hands. This was during a double date at Knott’s Scary Farm. An eyewitness described the date as “affectionate”. The other couple was the unsuspecting matchmaker Green and his wife Clare Grant.
But the couple didn’t just stick to LA. They spent a good chunk of their time in Paris. That’s where Culkin had been living. They also made trips to Amsterdam, Germany, and various places in the U.S.
“Traveling together helps you really get to know someone,” Song told Bustle. She added, “You also get to know yourself. You start figuring out your strengths and weaknesses and how well you adapt.” They did this for almost a year.
And, well, they’ve been together ever since. They’re not showy about their romance, but they’re content. They’ve joined Green and Grant for a day at Disneyland in March 2018. They’ve appeared at Stand Up to Cancer. They’ve been caught by paparazzi on their coffee runs.
Culkin did admit something to Esquire in 2020, though. He was extremely worried in the early days. He thought it was all too good to be true. He feared that something would happen and blow it all up.
