You know what must be done
Between Marvel and Capcom, there’s too many iconic characters to even count from their combined over a century of history, and there’s hundreds of them who have never appeared in a fighting game… let alone all together.
CaliKingz01 is someone who’s attempting to change that, however, with his newly updated mod pack for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 on PC adding Darkstalkers’ Jon Talbain and Spider-Man’s Shocker to the growing list of custom combatants while also teasing Blade is in the works too.
The trailer for the Clone Engine V2 pack starts out by showcasing the previous roster of added characters with some of them receiving new custom animations in the update.
We get a better look at the new and improved Captain Commando, Sakura, and Batsu on the Capcom side along with Bishop, IceMan, Gambit, Venom and Carnage on the Marvel side with each looking pretty sick in motion.
As for the new additions, Talbain should be looking fairly familiar to Darkstalkers fans with his claw swipes and multiple Beast Cannons on full display though that’s not all.
They also included his Dragon Cannon as a Hyper Combo as well as the Moment Slice, Mirage Body, command grab and more.

Shocker unsurprisingly relies a lot on his shocking gauntlets for his move list with double projectiles, ground pounds, and giant shockwaves.
And of course there was no resisting put in a reference to the ’90s Spider-Man cartoon whenever you bring up shocker.
The end of the trailer closes things out with a quick teaser for Blade though we only get to see an early shot of his model and what may be his victory animation.
You can check out the full video below with the new characters coming in around the 4:50 mark, and more information can be found on the Clone Engine 2 Nexus Mods page.
