Role and responsibilities
Quality Data Capturing:
Update and maintain quality release and batch documentation information in databases
Develop and maintain accurate filing system for Batch Release information as well as supporting with the data collation and reporting of product recalls
Track inbound planning reports and DC receipts to ensure efficient and proactive action is taken
Quality Assurance Batch Release:
Review certificates of analysis and conformance in accordance with SAHPRA requirements to ensure products are safe, effective and of good quality
Ensure regulatory requirements are met and retention samples for each batch manufactured, are retained for the regulated time frame
Perform document control and archiving in accordance with SAHPRA requirements Prepare QA Release samples for safe product disposal
Document Management System:
Assist with compilation, review and maintenance of QMS Documentation, including local procedures, policies and supporting documents
Develop and maintain an accurate filing system to ensure data is up to date and securely stored
Customer Service:
Ensure a high level of service to internal and external stakeholders through correct product knowledge and good cross-functional communication
Complaint Handling:
Ensure relevant customer complaints are handled effectively and in a timely manner
Regularly monitor and respond to complaints received at both a local and regional level in an efficient and coordinated manner
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Qualified Pharmacist registered with South African Pharmacy Council
5-6 years of relevant work experience
Minimum 1-2 years of Quality Assurance experience within Commercial Quality or in the manufacturing industry is a must
Previous experience using systems including Vault Quality, SAP and Trackwise is preferred
Should be a South African citizen
Demonstrate agility within a cross functional team
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, assertiveness, and decision-making ability
