Street Fighter 6 has entered the month that commemorates its first world championship and next DLC character, so the game received its first of multiple updates for February.
Now that the maintenance period has concluded, Capcom has released the official patch notes for the new update and reset Master ranks for Phase 3.
The main addition of this patch is the Get Ready for Ed Fighting Pass, which adds new items themed around the DLC fighter and his allies to unlock in both free and premium tiers.
Beyond that, the Battle Hub has also received a substantial makeover for Capcom Cup X with a new dark theme and decorations that’ll last through the month as well as limited time activities.
It’s not just the Battle Hub either, as the Macho Ring stage has been given a Capcom Cup theme too.
Capcom Pro Tour avatar gear has been added to the Hub Goods Shop as well with each piece costing 2,000 Drive Tickets or 100 Fighter Coins.
Now that the game has entered Phase 3, Master Rate points for all players have been reset, and the top 500 from the previous season should receive an exclusive “Phase 2 Legend!” title.
No bug fixes or battle adjustments seem to have been made in this update, so things like the recently discovered scaling reset glitch are still likely present.
