Tekken 8 is officially available now. Fans everywhere are celebrating in their own ways as they try their best to contain their excitement.
One fan may have taken the cake, though, as their way of showing their excitement for Tekken 8 came in the form of the perfect cosplay. This Paul Phoenix cosplay is so good, in fact, that at first, we legitimately thought this was a cut scene ripped straight out of the game.
This tremendous depiction of the Tekken series powerhouse comes from creator maul_cosplay, and believe me when I say, this cosplay is absolutely spot on.
In step with some of the Tekken franchise’s sillier, more lighthearted intros and character endings, maul’s cosplay video sees Tekken 8’s Paul working on his motorcycle before noticing the camera and playing it up for the viewers.
Paul stops when he realizes the spotlight is on him, let’s out a small laugh, then gets up and performs what essentially looks like a victory screen animation. He clashes his fists together before unleashing a devastating punch right into the camera.
From Paul’s new Tekken 8 hairdo to the studded leather jacket, every aspect of the fighter’s look is perfectly represented here. Maul_cosplay nails it, and this isn’t just one of the best Tekken cosplays we’ve ever seen, but one of the best cosplays we’ve ever seen in general.
