Top Jamie player shares wishlist for buffs and changes to make the character better in Street Fighter 6 Season 2

Although he was showing promise after his initial reveals and in the betas, Jamie hasn’t really accomplished much in Street Fighter 6, and there’s quite a bit of simple and more in-depth adjustments he probably needs at this point to keep up with most of the rest of the cast.

One of the best Jamie players in the world in RG|Boltstrike recently shared his wishlist of buffs and changes for his character entering into SF6 Season 2.

Instead of having a video or anything like that, the longtime competitor from the United Kingdom put together a literal list with seven main points of interest.

The first of which is perhaps one of the most extreme being the potential elimination of Jamie’s base drink level because he does too little damage in that state and has even fewer tools to try and get rolling.

His other suggestion on that front is to give Jamie and Overdrive version of his drink special to make it a lot faster similarly to Hakan in Street Fighter 4.

A few of Boltstrike’s other wants are to simply revert some of the nerfs he got from the betas like giving his Bakkai breakdance kicks better projectile invincibility and perhaps even change its input so players don’t accidentally get his Arrow Kick reversal as easily.

He’d also apparently just like some better combo consistency like making back heavy punch target combo should always be a true string and not just on counter hit opponents.

One thing he doesn’t agree with, however, is making Jamie’s drink carry over between rounds like Manon’ medals because of how the character is designed and could potentially waste the first round of ever match chugging as much as possible to be at level 4 in rounds two and three.

Similar to Boltstrike, former Capcom Cup champion iDom recently put together his wishlist for Manon in SF6 Season 2 as well with mostly simple asks for buffs and consistency.

Even if he got all that he asked for, Boltstrike feels Jamie would still be only a mid-tier character, but you can check out the full post below and let us know what you think this would do for Jamie.
