Granblue Fantasy is enjoying new life in the realm of fighting games with the recent release of Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, and it looks like there’s going to be quite a bit of support in the future.
During the Kayane Cup this weekend in France, Granblue Director Tetsuya Fukuhara was present at the event and sat down for an interview where they shared a few new screenshots of Nier: Automata’s 2B.
Although we’re not sure currently if this interview was actually streamed, Kayane herself shared the new images of the famous white-haired android afterward from the presentation.
The first of which seems to be either part of her pre-fight intro or victory animation while the second is pulled from the game’s figure mode.
This latter one is more interesting because it shows 2B without her blindfold / eye mask, so we’re interested to see if it’ll be an option to remove that for gameplay or if this is only for this particular mode.

We still don’t have a solid release date for her beyond late February as Granblue’s second DLC character after Lucilius just launched this past week.
2B will be followed by Vane in April and Beatrix in May though there’s still two more fighters left to be announced for late Summer and early Fall.
One other bit of irony here is that former Soul Calibur 6 Producer Motohiro Okubo is now the CEO of Cygames America, so now he’ll have partially overseen 2B’s addition to two different fighting games.
If you want more 2B action, there is the initial reveal trailer for the Nier crossover that shows off a bit more of her gameplay and animations too.
Here are two new exclusive 2B’s screenshots from Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising !

I can’t wait to play her in end of February!
Thank you @gbvs_official for the big honor to show that for Kayane Cup pic.twitter.com/o1oZjkbCaG
