Fighting game tier lists can be an interesting gate into the mind of a particular player, but what about when you get multiple pros in the same room?
That’s what SmashlogTV recently did by bringing together some of Japan’s strongest players in Saishunkan|Shuto, RJT|Haitani and DFM|John Takeuchi alongside longtime commentator Hameko to put together their collaborative tier list for Street Fighter 6.
They start out with the poster boy in Ryu with Shuto immediately shouting out “D”, and it seems as though the others apparently agreed because that’s where he stayed.
Since there’s no English subtitles, we unfortunately don’t know why they went so low exactly, but he’s not alone down there since it appears they also have little faith in Jamie, Zangief and interestingly, Dhalsim.
There’s been a lot of debate surrounding Ken’s strength in SF6 lately, and these guys don’t even place him in S tier where they only had 4 characters in the top before doing some adjustments placing Cammy down in A as well.
The ending adjustments make it so there’s only 3 in each the S and A tiers, and Chun-Li actually appears to beat out Luke for the number 2 spot overall.
This isn’t the first collaborative SF6 character ranking we’ve seen this week, as Evo champion NASR|AngryBird and 00|Phenom also teamed up to put together their own tiers following their trip to Japan for the FAV Cup 2023.
