Gabrielle Union & Dwyane Wade’s Journey to Becoming a Hollywood Success Story

She’s not one to spill all the beans. In the early days post-nuptials, she’d skillfully dodge the baby questions. Fast forward to 2017, and she’d had enough. The constant probing into her reproductive life was just too much.

She decided to shut down the inquiries with a raw, honest response. In her book, she opened up about her miscarriages. She wrote, “For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant—I’ve either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle.” A powerful statement, right?

She made it crystal clear. That was all she was going to say about it. If she’s seen cradling a newborn, sure, she’ll talk. But until that moment, as she told E! News in 2017, “If we are or if we aren’t, that’s, like, totally our thing.”

And now? They are. True to her word, she’s talking about it. Meet Kaavia. This ridiculously photogenic 5-year-old, known for her #shadybaby stares and dry humor (props to Mom and Dad), has a whopping 1.9 million followers on her @kaaviajames Instagram handle. She even has her own book.

And Halloween 2019? Hell yeah, she was game to flaunt a series of costumes for her first Halloween.
