Desk takes on Capcom's worst fighting game to parry and style on the Darkstalkers, Red Earth dinosaurs and more like nowhere else

What should have been a celebration of Capcom fighting games 20 years ago ended up on the same level as an old fan-made mashup beloved by basically no one, but at least it’s still good for something.

The one and only Desk recently took on the all-time stinker of Capcom Fighting Evolution to parry and style on the game’s cast pulled from Darkstalkers, Red Earth, Street Fighter Alpha and more.

For those who don’t happen to know, characters actually keep their own unique system mechanics and moves from their original games, so that means the Street Fighter 3 warriors can parry everyone else who doesn’t have that ability.

Although the title of the video is “Parrying the Darkstalkers”, Desk goes far beyond just Felicia, Demitri and Anakaris to mess with the biggest and weirdest attacks he could find across the entire roster and retaliate the only way he knows how.

That means we get to see the likes of Shin Akuma parrying a giant dinosaur’s flame breath and big charging Super, Yun countering the the ninja Kenji’s flame tower and a Raging Demon through Pyron’s nonsense.

And of course this is all done to some slick beats, so check out Capcom Fighting Evolution looking cooler than it probably ever has before and probably will ever again.
