Street Fighter 6 players have made it most of the way through (or at least over half) of its first year without any big balance changes, and some competitors are starting to look ahead to what’s coming after.
Top Manon and former Capcom Cup champion iDom recently put together a breakdown as to what changes he’d like to see the grappler receive in Season 2.
For his main he currently considers to be in the bottom 5 of the game, iDom’s first point of contention he’d like to see adjusted is actually her damage output.
You may think that’s a bit crazy with her Medal levels giving her a boost, but he’s talking about her damage outside of the command grabs and uses the example of her light to Rond-point kick into Super Art 3 basic combo that does nearly 800 less damage than JP for basically the exact same setup.
The next issues are a bit more on the side of quality of life improvements with the previous Laura and Poison pro hoping they make Manon’s level 1 and 2 Supers land more consistently in combos, especially juggles, since he shows how both can easily miss or drop part way.
His third main wish is a bit more exact by wanting Manon’s crouching medium punch to be 6 frames of startup instead of 7 for consistency and practicality reasons like being able to combo lights into the medium on counter hits.
Beyond that, iDom is hopeful for some changes to her Drive Rush cancels, making her heavy kick less negative on hit, better Punish Counter options and more.
