Louxxei brings the character out of Street Fighter and into real life

This is, hands down, the best Elena cosplay we've ever seen

While scrolling X recently we stumbled upon what we initially thought might be a character model, but after a double take we realized it was actually Louxxie’s latest cosplay of Elena, the African capoeira character from Street Fighter.

Sure, there may be a little Photoshopping and photography tricks in use (which is usually the case with cosplay) but even still, this is easily the most realistic imitation of Elena we’ve seen to date.

Elena was first introduced back in Street Fighter 3: New Generation as a longer-limbed combatant with a cheery disposition. She made a follow up appearance in Ultra Street Fighter 4 nearly two decades later, where she was regarded as one of the most frustrating characters to face off with.

This was thanks to her atypical hurtboxes paired with her unique ability to heal back chunks of her health bar.

Indeed this character quickly became one of the most salt-inducing opponents to see in the latter days of USF4, but it feels like enough time has now passed that we can appreciate top tier cosplays of her without too many scary memories creeping up.

Thus we share a handful of wonderful cosplay photos from Louxxie as she absolutely nails the look and breathes life into a real word version of the character.

The first one in the Instagram embed below was the one that initially duped our eyes, but be sure to click the arrows to cycle through and see the four additional photos in the post.

Here Louxxie shares a few more quick selfies from her Twitter page:

One last one to close out the gallery (has “Beats in My Head” started looping in your brain yet?).
