INEOS are looking to reset Manchester United’s long-term identity by reducing spending on high-profile players.
The club’s new vision revolves around smarter recruitment and giving more chances to homegrown prospects.
With transfer mistakes from previous years still being felt, United have begun prioritising youth in a bid to reduce cost and increase sustainability.

This has been evident with the rising involvement of academy players in senior training and matchday squads under Ruben Amorim.
The new direction also aligns with Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s belief in building a hungrier, more dynamic squad profile.
Whether through targeted signings or internal academy promotions, the focus is now firmly on players under 21.
It’s a shift already being felt at Carrington.
One midfielder in particular has started to generate significant buzz.
Jack Moorhouse was central to United’s 3-3 draw against Nottingham Forest earlier this week.
The teenager stood out despite goals from Chido Obi and Bendito Mantato grabbing early headlines.

His power, composure and driving runs from midfield set him apart from his peers and have made him impossible to ignore.
Moorhouse has caught the eye of Ruben Amorim in recent months.
Especially during a standout game against Southampton back in December.
He has since been included in the senior squad for games against both Tottenham and Arsenal.
Although he’s yet to make his full debut.
As revealed by CentreDevils, United are planning to hand Moorhouse his first-team debut before the end of the season.
He is also set to be involved in the post-season tour of Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur.
As well as the pre-season trip to the United States.
That exposure is seen as vital to helping him break into Amorim’s plans for next season.
EFL clubs set to chase signature of Jack Moorhouse
However, there is also strong interest in Moorhouse from EFL clubs who are keen to develop him further.
Daily Mail’s report states that multiple League One and Two sides are eager to take him on loan for 2025/26.
United are still deciding whether a loan or first-team integration is the better path.
Although, it vastly depends on Amorim’s long-term squad plans.
Either way, it’s clear that Moorhouse is now on the brink of becoming a key name in the club’s youth revolution.
