The floodgates really opened today with Tekken 8 content popping up pretty much everywhere, but it seems like there’s still more to come.
Bandai Namco also announced a “Special World Premiere Event” for Tekken 8 being broadcast this week.
The event is said to focus on the Story Mode, which has remained mostly a mystery until now, as well as the new demo revealed to be coming out this week as well.
WWE’s Xavier Woods (aka Austin Creed) will be there to host the stream alongside Tekken Director Katsuhiro Harada and Producer Michael Murray
We’re not sure what all is going to be shown off there, but today’s previews have given us actual gameplay for newcomers Reina and Victor as well as shown off the remaining new costumes and colors available in the game.
The Tekken 8 event is scheduled to take place this Thursday, December 14, at 6 a.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET presumably on the Tekken Twitch channel and the Bandai Namco America YouTube channel, or you can watch it right here with us.
