Payroll Administrator
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance with company policies and regulations
- Maintain and update payroll records, including allowances, deductions, and transfers
- Process monthly reconciliations, third-party payments, and salary calculations
- Address payroll discrepancies and employee queries while maintaining confidentiality
- Support equity linking, sectoral legislation compliance, and system improvements
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure timely report submissions
- Identify process efficiencies and implement payroll best practices
Qualifications and Skills:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or a related field (advantageous)
- 2 years’ experience in payroll processing
- Previous experience with working on the SAGE People 300 system (advantageous)
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of Payroll regulations and Labour laws
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid Driver’s License (Code 08)
