Manchester United’s struggles upfront have been evident this season, with the team among the lowest-scoring sides in the Premier League.
Their current forward options, including Rasmus Hojlund, have failed to make a significant impact, with the Dane only ending his 21-game goal drought with a strike against Leicester City on Sunday.
This lack of goals has prompted the club to consider new options for the summer, as they aim to improve their attacking depth.
According to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Manchester United are closely monitoring Eintracht Frankfurt forward Hugo Ekitike as part of their plans for next season.

The Red Devils are reportedly looking to strengthen their frontline and have already begun talks about potential arrivals at Old Trafford.
Hugo Ekitike, who joined Frankfurt from PSG last summer, has enjoyed a breakthrough season, scoring 19 goals and providing nine assists across all competitions.
Alongside Hugo Ekitike, United is reportedly considering other attacking targets, including RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko, Sporting’s Viktor Gyokeres, and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.
As the team prepares for a busy summer under Ruben Amorim, a new striker is believed to be one of their top priorities.
