As is Manchester United’s season couldn’t get any worse, Ruben Amorim has an injury crisis on his hands.
The club are currently in 15th in the Premier League sitting only 12 points clear of the relegation zone with 29 points.
With 13 games left to play, United need at least 11 points to stay in the Premier League for next season, with the only chance of retaining European football looking to be with winning the FA Cup for the second season in a row.
The FA Cup was a lifeline for Erik ten Hag last season as the club finished 8th overall, however, Amorim’s side are 10 points behind current eighth-place Fulham.
However, as United face Everton next, with The Toffee in 14th with 30 points, a win could see United take at least 14th place, if not 12th depending on other results.
Unfortunately for Amorim, with the current state of injuries at the club, the Portuguese manager is without some key players for the rest of the season.

Diallo has been thriving under Amorim, with his time in the treatment room now set to be a massive blow to the club.
The Ivory Coast international has damaged a ligament in training and is now set to undergo surgery to repair the issue.
Unfortunately, the injury list doesn’t end there with Kobbie Mainoo also ruled out for six weeks with a muscular injury.
The United academy graduate strained a calf muscle and is fighting to be back in action for United’s Round of 16 fight in the Europa League.
Thankfully injuries sustained by Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer last week aren’t deemed to be serious, with Christian Eriksen and Leny Yoro back in the squad to face Everton after recovering from illness.
