Sandalphon releases February 26
Cygames came to the Evo Awards tonight with a special announcement for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising.
The developers revealed every character coming to the game’s second season of DLC.
We already knew Sandalphon was coming up first here in GBVSR Season 2, but now the full roster of five new fighters have been filled out.
After our winged boy, Galleon will be the second character to come in the new season with the compassionate dragon ready to tame her opponents with earth magic.
Third in line is the fiery dragon Wilnas, who will take the opposite approach and smack his foes about with his fists.
Meg follows that in the fall, and it seems she’ll be bringing some sharks to the water with her — so be careful.
Finally, there’s Isla coming early 2026 with the demon sergeant ready to put you all back in line in the new year with her drills… and guns.

• Ilsa – Early 2026
And then Season 2 will kick off before the end of this month with Sandalphon finally coming to Granblue Versus on February 26.
Knowing Cygames, there looks to be new moves / mechanics and content on the way with the new season too.
French Bread and Arc System Works also revealed Ogre’s debut trailer for Under Night In-Birth 2 [Sys:Celes] at the event.
