Arc System Works have had a pretty busy night at the Evo Awards with announcements for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising and Under Night In-Birth 2, but they weren’t done there.
The publisher also revealed a new trailer for Hunter X Hunter: Nen Impact that unveiled the Season Pass and release date.
The trailer begins going over all of the modes and characters included in the base game coming out this year, but that’s not all they had to show.
Nephelpito was also announced as Nen Impact’s first DLC character for Season Pass 1, who will come out in Fall 2025.
There will be four new fighters in total added to the game with the second coming in the Winter followed by the third in early 2026 and the last in Summer 2026.
Following the delay out of last year, the Hunter X Hunter fighting game is set to release this Summer on July 17, 2025 for the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
And yes it’ll have rollback netcode for online play.
A Limited Edition of Nen Impact was confirmed as well including the base game, Season Pass 1, acrylic stands of Gon and Killua, in-game skins for Kurapika and Hisoka, and a booklet all inside a special illustrated box.
pre-ordering the game digitally can also nab you bonus character skins depending on your platform of choice.
