The Drivers Helpdesk Unit (DHU) Manager oversees the affairs of the Unit by designing and ensuring job functions are effectively carried out.
The DHU Manager also ensures assigned programs are successfully executed and office mandates are adhered to as specified by the Management.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Effectively manage and oversee the affairs of the unit
Preparation and presentation of DHU reports at management meetings
Interface between the office (DHU), management and other Unit/Departmental Heads
Escalate/follow-up on driver’s cases to ensure timely resolution
Organize daily safety pep talk for drivers and present reports to management
Make periodic reports and analysis for management decision-making
Gathering of relevant driver’s related data/information for management use
Communication of innovations, ideas and drivers-related developments to management

Requirements

Academic/Professional Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or its equivalent in Management/Social Sciences or a relevant discipline with a minimum of 3-5 years of cognate work experience
Higher educational qualification/professional certification in relevant courses is an added advantage

Skills & Competencies:

Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to work with little or no supervision
High emotional intelligence and leadership skills
Ability to communicate in English and Hausa languages
Computer literacy with proficiency in MS suite
Knowledge and skill of successfully managing a Team
