JOB SUMMARY

  • The Regional Business Developer will be responsible for driving business growth across the specified regions by identifying opportunities, developing relationships, and executing strategic plans to achieve revenue targets. This role demands a proactive approach, extensive regional market knowledge, and exceptional networking skills. This opportunity is available in Johannesburg, South Africa ; Lusaka, Zambia and Harare, Zimbabwe. 

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

In order to be shortlisted for this vacancy, the successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies, but not limited to:

  • Minimum of 3 years in sales or business development within the Logistics Industry.
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in logistics or forwarding.
  • Strong knowledge of the markets in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, and DRC.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluent in English as all internal business communication is conducted in English.
  • Proficiency in French (advantageous but not required).
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the specified regions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The role responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • The Regional Business Developer should drive sales and grow the business in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Build strong client relationships
  • Develop customised logistics solutions
  • Travel regularly within the region and close collaboration with internal teams to deliver exceptional service to our clients
