There’s so much that goes into making a cosplay beyond just a simple costume, and this right here is some next level stuff.
Anyone at the Los Angeles Comic Con this weekend may have spotted an unexpected giant in the crowd that just so happened to be an incredible Goro, who almost looks like he was ripped out of klassic Mortal Kombat.
MK super fan UncannyCarlos spent probably an ungodly amount of time getting all the pieces together for this giant cosplay that can’t be defeated, even by the likes of Liu Kang.

On top of having the Shokan’s massive stature, Carlos’ Goro has piercing red eyes and wires that allows him to lift and move all four of his arms.
It certainly doesn’t look easy to move around in though.
Some familiar faces from the FGC like CEO organizer Alex Jebailey and YoVideogame’s Unroolie also spotted this one of a kind cosplay and had to get some photos too.

Since we launched #Mortalkomat1 I’ve been dying to see CosPlay photos that feature MAIN and KAMEO fighters.
Here’s one featuring @unrooolie and @UncannyCarlos

If you’re curious to see the costume in motion and all the work it takes to put it on, UncannyCarlos has a video showing the process that looks like it takes quite a while.
But the end result is certainly worth it.
GORO’s first Comic Con!
Thank you so much for the love

And hopefully we’ll be seeing more of Goro in the near future, considering NetherRealm Studios is now confirmed to be working on a Story Mode expansion for Mortal Kombat 1.
