Passion shines through clearly in the artwork of Danhilo, a fighting game fan with a cartoonish bent in his work.
We’re sharing a selection from his portfolio today that shows off a decent range of games and characters including the likes of King of Fighters’ Mai and Angel, Darkstalkers’ Morrigan and Felicia, Guilty Gear’s Baiken and Ramlethal, as well as Street Fighter’s Chun-Li, Cammy, Guile, and Juri.
We kick things off with a spicy image of lingerie Chun-Li. This actually comes from a handful of similarly-themed drawings (be sure to check out Danhilo’s X feed for the like of lingerie Sakura, Juri, and Laura) and sees the Strongest Woman in the World on what look like a steamy Valentine’s Day evening.
The same subject pops up in the second gallery image, though this time the style is a good bit different. Not only does Chun have more of an older school anime appearance, she’s donning Power Rangers gear, which is perhaps a nod to her guest appearance in Battle for the Grid.
Chun pops up a few more times, including once in her newest Street Fighter 6 threads. Comfortable yet stylish Chun (at least, that’s what we’re calling it) strikes a somewhat playful pose at the Suval’hal Arena, and looks so good we actually might have grown in our appreciation for the character’s newest costume as a result of this art.
We especially liked the Marvel vs. Capcom nod a Venom takes a silly pic with a potential tag team partner (again, Chun) while other MvC characters play in the background arcade.
Finally, we’ll shout out the final image in the gallery that sees Guile recreating the iconic dance scene from the 1989 Jean Claude Van Damme film Kickboxer. The actor would go on to play Guile just a few years later in the live action Street Fighter movie, and thus this image offers a little chunk of charm to anyone familiar.
Give Danhilo’s gallery a look through and share any and all reactions in the comments afterwards. If you like what you see there’s a whole lot more where this came from on the artist’s social media pages.
