Here's when Street Fighter 6's servers will be down for maintenance to make way for Outfit 3

The wait is almost over; very soon, fans will finally be able to lay down their cold, hard cash to purchase Street Fighter 6’s first set of DLC costumes for the game’s launch roster.

Outfit 3 is en route and set to go live tomorrow, and in preparation of that, Capcom will be taking Street Fighter 6’s servers down for maintenance. Here’s when you can expect things to go down.

“Street Fighter 6 will undergo maintenance on November 30 from 8PM-midnight PT,” wrote the official Street Fighter X (formerly Twitter) page. “Get ready for Outfit 3!”

The Buckler’s Boot Camp page on the official Street Fighter 6 website adds a few more details on the server maintenance. Below is a quick reference guide for different time zones.

Friday, December 1 – 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. JST

Thursday, November 30 – 8:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. PST

Friday, December 1 – 4:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. UTC

While servers are down, all online modes will be unavailable to access. With previous updates, we’ve also seen replay data get erased despite Capcom not giving a heads up, so if you have any replay footage you want to save, be sure to go in and do so before the servers are taken offline tonight.

Street Fighter 6 is adding Outfit 3 for all 18 of the launch roster characters. The first year of DLC fighters will be getting their Outfit 3 when Akuma drops in Spring 2024.

At this time, the masses are still unsure how much these new costumes will cost. Based on recent controversy with additional content prices both in Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1, however, fans are concerned that Outfit 3 will cost a lot of real money.

It is also unclear what kind of pricing structure Outfit 3 will have in Street Fighter 6. Right now, you can purchase Outfit 2 for every character in the game as an individual purchase or unlock them via the game’s single-player mode, World Tour.

This is the first time we’re seeing Capcom release a full bundle of costumes including the entire launch cast since back in the Street Fighter 4 days, as Street Fighter 5 generally saw costume packs with between 3 – 6 costumes for certain characters released. With that in mind, it is possible that they may be offering a full bundle deal to buy all 18 at once, like we saw in the past, but that has not yet been confirmed.

While we wait for Outfit 3’s official release, be sure to check out the five best and worst costumes from the bunch as picked by me.
