Sr. Associate, Material Planning at SC Johnson

About the role

The Analyst Material planning position has the responsibility of the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) process ensuring materials availability to support the production schedule at the optimal inventory investment and cost for the specific production sites.

Responsibilities:

Managing MRP process as well as facilitating/driving issue resolution
Participating in huddle meetings and ensuring alignment with the global standards and best practices
Be part of the monthly Supply Review (Step 3) meetings as a part of the S&OP process
Accountable for Case Fill Rate and Inventory KPI’s within their cluster(s) or category(s) or site(s)
Ensure aligned inventory strategies are incorporated into updated plans
Proactively communicate potential issues with the cross functional Product Supply stakeholders – while leading issue resolution
Conduct monthly root cause analysis of KPI’s for their category/cluster/plant – and identify/drive corrective actions
Responsible for leading capability and both long and short-term capacity assessments on supporting demand changes
Establish good relationships with suppliers
Update and maintain KPIs dashboard and suppliers’ scorecard
Ensure proper Master Data and PO maintenance

Experience you’ll bring:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
Minimum of 2 years of Supply Chain or Business experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience using PC-based applications (such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and/or Access) strong communication skills, with a proven ability to understand key business and planning concepts
Inventory Control and Execution Excellence – Leveraging knowledge of key supply chain drivers in order to ensure proper inventory management.
Core Planning – Applying knowledge of supply planning processes and tools in order to ensure proper execution
Continuous Improvement – Applying a continuous improvements framework by continually seeking new ways to enhance performance, improve results
Effective Communication – Listening and communicating openly, honestly, and respectfully with different audiences, promoting dialogue and building consensus
Strategic Thinking – Creating and communicating the business vision into clear, meaningful and specific priorities in order to help them and others focus their efforts for business success.
