Tinubu returns from France, South Africa trips

President Bola Tinubu returned to the country on Wednesday night after he took part in the 11th session of the Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission in Cape Town.

Tinubu, who is the co-chairman of BNC alongside his South African counterpart, Cyril Ramaphosa, on Tuesday charged Nigeria and South Africa to drive Africa’s transformation.

He argued that the strategic partnership between the two countries must become a model of leadership, economic integration, and shared prosperity for the continent.

The presidential aircraft conveying the president touched down at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja, at 9:10 p.m.

Tinubu had earlier left the country for France where he met with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron.

He departed France for South Africa on Monday.
