After years of lying mostly dormant, Killer Instinct is once again rising up to give its dedicated fans something new.
Microsoft and Iron Galaxy announced the release date for the Killer Instinct Anniversary Edition update / upgrade, and it’ll be here in less than a day.
As revealed in their new post, the long-awaited KI update will be dropping tomorrow, November 28, at 12 p.m. PST / 3 p.m. EST across Xbox and PC.
At that time, the game will update to the Anniversary Edition version with a new user interface and character select screen portraits.
Moreover, KI will receive a large balance update to change up a majority of the cast, and you can find the full patch notes here.
The Definitive Edition / standard Steam edition of KI will be replaced with the Anniversary Edition that’ll include all 29 characters and seemingly all the extras too for $30.
Killer Instinct is still on sale though across all platforms, so you can still get that before its gone and receive the Anniversary Edition upgrade on top of it tomorrow.
You can find out more information about what’s included with Killer Instinct Anniversary Edition here.
Exciting news, Combo Breakers: Killer Instinct Anniversary Edition will be available TOMORROW, November 28, at 12PM Pacific!
