The long rumored and requested sequel to Under Night In-Birth was officially unveiled to the world just a few months ago, and now players around the world will be able to try it out very soon.
Arc System Works and French Bread have revealed and confirmed the details for Under Night In-Birth II [Sys:Celes]’s open beta test coming this month.
Although we’ve seen some different times online, the official start and end dates for the beta test are as follows: Thursday, November 16, at 5 p.m. PST until Sunday, November 19, at 11 p.m. PST.
The beta will only be available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 owners when pre-orders will become available for those systems, so it seems PC and Nintendo Switch users are left out for now.
There’s both online and offline modes available to try out including Casual Match (Network), VS Player, VS CPU, Watch (CPU vs. CPU), Free Training and Options.
As for who’s on the beta roster, it seems that 23 out of the revealed 24 UNIB sequel characters will be in the test with Kuon left out.
This won’t be the only ArcSys-related beta this month either, as Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising’s test is coming to PlayStation this weekend as well starting November 9.
Those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition of the Under Night sequel will gain 72-hour early access for the full game ahead of the full launch.
Under Night In-Birth II [Sys:Celes] is scheduled to release on PS4, PS5, Switch and PC on January 25, 2024.
