Manchester United’s squad is facing another test of its depth as the team prepares to visit Fulham this weekend.
Injuries continue to impact key areas, leaving manager Ruben Amorim with difficult decisions ahead of the Premier League clash.
Concerns over fitness dominated Amorim’s recent press conference, as he revealed doubts surrounding three defenders.

Noussair Mazraoui, absent during United’s midweek Europa League win over Rangers, is a question mark after picking up a knock against Brighton.
Matthijs de Ligt and Leny Yoro also ended the Rangers game with complaints, with both undergoing assessments to determine their availability.
United’s attacking rotation also remains a topic of interest, with Alejandro Garnacho impressing and Amad operating in a wing-back role during the Rangers victory.
Meanwhile, Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte, and Joshua Zirkzee were rotated into the starting lineup, adding much-needed energy to the squad.

The defensive worries are compounded by Luke Shaw’s ongoing recovery.
While Shaw is back in light training, Amorim suggested it will be at least two weeks before the England international is considered for match action.
“He needs more time to improve his fitness,” Amorim explained.
“We are being cautious, but it’s important not to rush him back.”
On the Fulham side, Marco Silva confirmed that Kenny Tete and Reiss Nelson remain unavailable due to knee and thigh injuries, respectively.
However, the Cottagers could see contributions from Andreas Pereira and Adama Traore, who has been impactful in recent games.
For United’s clash against Fulham, five players have officially been ruled out for the match at Craven Cottage.
Shaw, Jonny Evans and Mason Mount will miss out due to injuries, while Fulham’s Tete and Nelson round out the absentee list.
These fitness issues underscore the importance of squad depth as both teams aim for critical points in the season.
