3 dead bodies found mysteriously in South Carolina home

Law enforcement officials discovered three dead bodies in an expensive home in Greer, South Carolina, last Friday, leading to an investigation into the incident.

In a Friday press release, the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that sheriff’s deputies responded at 11:30 a.m. on Friday to a home on Marilyn Perry Lane in Greer, South Carolina, after receiving an “unknown law call” from a neighbor.

“Upon arrival, there was an initial language barrier, but once that was addressed, deputies entered the residence and discovered three deceased individuals inside the home,” the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office stated. “At this initial stage, this agency doesn’t feel like there is any threat to the public.”

The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office explained that additional information regarding the discovery of the three dead bodies in the Marilyn Perry Lane home will be released “at the appropriate time” following an investigation by the sheriff’s office and the coroner’s office.

“There are other residents of the home that were in school when the incident occurred; so this agency would sincerely appreciate some compassion in media coverage and social media comments,” the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office added in Friday’s press release. “Rather than piece mill answers to follow-up questions from individual media outlets, more detail will be provided in a subsequent release.”
