Police in Calabar are said to have arraigned 3 Cross River state government revenue service officials over an allegations of missing missing money which amount is undisclosed.
According Cross River Watch, the allegations were contained in a report of investigation of the Ministries, Departments and Agencies MDAs by the State House of Assembly.
The 3 officials whose identities were not mentioned, were said to have been unable to defend some of the expenditure they presented during the House of Assembly investigation while some were also said to have allegedly diverted some of the funds to companies connected to them.
The Speaker of the State House of Assembly confirmed to Cross River Watch that a report of an investigation by the House indicted some people in the Executive arm of government who have been arrested but did not reveal the identities of those involved.
