July 14, 2024 BRONX, New York – Two people were shot outside a Webster Avenue apartment building Saturday evening, leaving one dead and the other injured in the Fordham Heights section of The Bronx, cops said.
According to police officials, 28-year-old Thomas McCellan was found with a gunshot wound to the torso, along with a 26-year-old woman who was shot in the hand.
The injured pair were rushed by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital where Mr. McCellan was later pronounced deceased and the woman was last listed in stable condition, authorities said.
Officers from the 46 Precinct responded to 2247 Webster Avenue just before 10:30 p.m., on July 13, following 911 calls for assault in progress and arrived to a multiple shooting incident.
At this time there are no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.
