A mass Baptism was celebrated over the weekend at the parish of St. Vladimir the Great of the Moscow Patriarchate’s African Exarchate in Zomba, Malawi.
In total, 25 people were baptized by the local dean Fr. George Chabvera, the parish rector Fr. Ezekiel Chikaonda, and Fr. Timothy Chintenga, the Exarchate reports.
The newly illumined underwent seven months of catechism before receiving Holy Baptism.
