The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate for the Federal Constituency of Akpabuyo/Bakassi/Calabar South (ABC) in Cross River State, Rt. Hon. Essien Ayi, has won the constituency for the fifth time in a row.

The incumbent House of Reps Member won the ABC Constituency with twenty-five thousand, seven hundred and seven (25,707) votes.

He won his closest rival of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dominic Aqua, who managed only eighteen thousand, nine hundred and forty-six (18,946) votes.

The result was announced by the Returning Officer, Prof Ojua Takim, on Monday in Calabar South INEC’s office.
