A 22-year-old girl, Ms Priscilla Ojong, who was allegedly declared missing has finally reappeared after sending another negative message to the public following what happened to a 26-year-old girl, Late Ms Iniubong Umoren in Akwa Ibom State.
Ms Priscilla, a 300 Level student of Mass Communications, University of Cross River (UNICROSS) was said to have gone missing about 3 weeks ago after friends and acquaintances raised an alarm.
It was alleged that she travelled from Calabar, Cross River State capital to see a male friend in Lagos State.
However, on Friday, May 14, 2021, Priscilla in an Instagram post she posted with the username @itz_priscy_ said she is not missing, adding that her phone got bad which is why no one was able to reach her.
She said: “There is a rumour going round that I am missing – actually, I am not missing. My phone was actually bad and secondly, I am not in Lagos, I am in Calabar.
“My phone was bad – so I had to do a phone swap and I had to wait for a while before completing the swapping – because I don’t have the money to balance for the swapping. That’s why I have not been active for a while now.
“So, please please please, I am alive, strong and very healthy – so, stop spreading the rumour that I am missing.
“Thank you, everyone, for your love, care – and I really appreciate it”, she added.
