21-Year-Old Man Critical After Stabbed and Slashed Outside NYC Bowling Alley: NYPD

June 10, 2024 MANHATTAN, New York – A man is in critical condition after being slashed and then stabbed early Monday morning in Manhattan, cops said.

According to police, a 21-year-old man was allegedly attacked by a group of three males in the latest act of violence involving a knife in New York City.

Police say the victim was slashed in the neck and stabbed in the torso just after 1:30 a.m., outside ‘The Gutter’, a Lower East Side bowling alley.

Officers from the 7th Precinct responded to the business at 212 Broome St, along Essex Street where they located the injured man who was rushed by EMS to Bellevue Hospital with life threatening injuries.

No arrests have been reported as of Monday morning. Detectives are working to determine a motive and what led up to the violent stabbing as the investigation is ongoing.

Also overnight, another man was injured during a separate stabbing attack outside of the Javits Center just before 2:00 a.m., along the Westside Highway & W 34th street in Manhattan.

The wounded male was taken to Bellevue Hospital for further treatment and last listed in stable condition.

Police are searching for a man and woman as the suspected attackers. The two ran from the scene where the victim was stabbed near vendor food carts, cops said.

Detectives are trying to piece together the moments leading up to that assault and the investigation into the stabbing incident is also underway.
