In Ikenne, Remo Stars Sports Club thrashed Gombe United FC 4-0 to pile more misery on the Savannah Scorpions who last weekend fell 0-3 at home to Doma United FC.
For the Remo Stars win, Sikiru Alimi netted twice for Daniel Ogunmodede’s in the game to go top of the goalscorers chart while Franck Mawuena and Aniekeme Okon scored the other goals.
At the Kwara Sports Complex, Kwara United rallied to hold Shooting Stars to a 1-1 draw Malomo Taofeek gave Shooting Stars the lead a minute before the break before getting a red card to reduce Gbenga Ogunbote’s men to 10-men.
Buoyed by the numerical advantage, Kwara United fought back to earn a point with Alao Mohamed equalising two minutes from time.
The Antelopes continued the Flying start to life under Fidelis Ilechukwu with a hard-fought 2-2 away draw Vs Sunshine Stars In Akure.
In summary, eighteen-goals were scored in nine matches, with six home wins and three draws.
