A women political support group in the All Progressives Congress, APC in Cross River State has demonstrated its support for the Cross River South Senatorial District candidate of the APC, Senator Bassey ‘Sweet Prince’ Otu NEGROIDHAVEN has confirmed.
Today, Amalgamated Women Group for Prince Otu and APC comprising all chapter women leaders of the APC in the seven local government areas of Cross River South led by Mrs Nkoyo Omon, Mrs Florence Archibong, Mrs Glory Ekanem and Okoho Yellow Duke including the seven women chapter leaders accosted the senatorial candidate at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport as Otu arrived Calabar.
NEGROIDHAVEN learnt that these women volunteered their time, energy and resources to root for the Sweet Prince across the seven LGAs of the South.
According to a source they ‘hired buses, toured round the 7 LGAs for senator and sewed uniform and other gift items for women to show love and support to the senator and wife, Mrs Eyoanwan Otu for always being there for the women youths and children’.
These women are poised to enthrone into the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, come 16 February the ‘community project’ initiative upon which Otu’s political ambition is hinged.
