Ahead of the international break next week, Manchester United still have two fixtures to play, heading to Portugal first to face Porto in the Europa League mid-week, and then Villa Park to face Aston Villa in the Premier League this weekend.
The club are hoping for better results recently with significant pressure around Erik ten Hag only building with each game that passes.
Ahead of these games, United have held an open training session which has given hope to ten Hag and United fans alike.
Thankfully Kobbie Mainoo and Harry Maguire have been seen in the training sessions despite injury concerns, indicating they could well be available to travel to Portugal.

However, one man that was missing from the team training was Mason Mount. His absence from training is more out of precaution, with the situation has been confirmed as not being concussion. However he might not be eligible to play in this week’s Europa League fixture.
However, these weren’t the only interesting observations at the open training session.
A new face in first team training
Now Manchester World have reported that academy star Jack Fletcher has joined the first team training ahead of the next two games.
Fletcher has already been identified by club coaches as an academy player with a realistic chance of breaking into the first-team squad.
The son of former United star Darren Fletcher joined The Red Devils to follow in his father’s footsteps, joining from Manchester City last year.
Now, seeing him in first team training could be an indication that he’s soon to get his chance at stepping up to the senior squad.
